Springfield (Illinois) — April 15, 1897
Two farm workers, Adolph Winkle and John Hulle, saw a strange craft in a field. They had a discussion with its occupants, a woman and two men, and were told the ship had flown from Quincy to Springfield in 30 min and that the crew was making electrical repairs. (FSR 65, 1)
