A guard saw a craft, 3.5 m in diameter and 15 m thick, land on the air- field. The witness, Vitorino Lourenco Monteiro, said a figure emerged from the craft and said something he could not understand, before taking off again. There were antennalike protrusions on top of the object. (Personal)
