Gorizia (Italy) — October 19, 1954 (1920)

Filippo Corridoni saw a half-empty balloon at ground level near the Isonzo River. Near it, a disk 10 m in diameter was resting on a strange frame. The upper part was white with a black dome- like turret, around which was a series of portholes, some illuminated with a very bright, bluish-white light, which suddenly went out as the object took off spinning and rising vertically, pulling the balloon with it.
