Georgetown (Connecticut) — 1957 (2200)

Approximate date. Ina Salter was driving on Route 53 in a desolate area when she encountered a cigar-shaped object about 5 m long, showing several portholes, which was hovering close to the ground to the left of the road. The portholes, about 50 cm in diameter, were illuminated with a yellowish light, and there were shadows moving be- hind. As she passed the object, it took off straight up, hovered for a few seconds, then rose out of sight. (APRO Mar, 62)
