Elmwood Park (Illinois) — November 4, 1957 (0315)
Two policemen, Joseph Lukasek and Clifford Schau, and a third man named Daniel De Giovanni, while looking for the cause of a headlight failure, observed a fluorescent object 50 to 100 m away from them, coming down. The car head- lights functioned properly again and they drove to- ward the object but had to stop at a cemetery wall. They turned off all lights and watched the object for two min. It played “hide and seek” with them as they tried to reach its location. (M 240; 113)
