Brands Flat (Virginia) — January 19, 1965 (1815)
A workman cutting wood on the Augusta archery range saw two saucer-shaped ob- jects, 30 m and 6 m in diameter, hovering in the sky. The smaller one landed, a door opened, and three pilots emerged. They looked human, but had a red- dish-orange skin and staring eyes. One of them had “a long finger on his left hand.” Their clothes were the same color as the craft, whose open door showed a strange light inside. The object was so highly pol- ished that “I would bet on a clear day you could not sec it at five thousand feet.” The occupants spoke sounds that were not understood and reentered the object.
