Milan (Michigan) — March 17, 1966 (0000)

A police officer observed an object in the southwest. He thought it was a plane about to crash, although no sound was audible. He tried to contact the police headquarters, but his radio trans- mitter did not work properly. The object, which now appeared as a huge disk with a number of multi- colored lights spinning at the periphery, and a diam- eter of 16 m, came within 2? m of the patrol car, following it for 1 km, then flew off toward the north- west. The witness had been a policeman for 10 years. and had never seen anything like that object. (Atic)
