Wycheproof (Australia) — April 5, 1966
R. Sullivan was driving to- ward Maryborough when his headlight beams ap- peared to “bend” to the right. He then observed a vertical, conical beam of light in a nearby field, very white at ground level and rainbowlike up to an alti- ude of 7 m. Top and bottom diameters: 3 and I m respectively. The object producing the light flew away. (APRO May, 66)
