Forli, Italy: Huge celestial object — 2 September 1394

At the second hour of the night, men walking in the main square of Forli saw an enormous

“asub” (celestial object) fly over very slowly. Duration: “the time of two Paternosters.” It left a smell like burning wood. Some witnesses described it as motionless in the sky for a while.
